When a Holiday Falls on a Regular Workday
If an eligible employee DOES NOT work on the holiday:
- They receive their average daily wage.

If an eligible employee WORKS on the holiday, the employer must choose one of two options:
- Pay the employee their average daily wage + 1.5x their regular wage for hours worked. OR
 - Pay regular wages (including overtime, if applicable) and give a future paid day off (paid at the average daily wage). ;
