Canadians Still Travelling in 2009
The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) released data from its 2009 Canadian Travel Intentions survey indicating that despite the current economic crisis in Canada, 74% of Canadians intend to travel in Canada either for business or leisure in 2009.

Government of Alberta RV Campground Study
In 2009, Tourism Business Development, Research and Investment Branch of Alberta Tourism, Parks and Recreation commissioned a study to assess Alberta's recreational vehicle campground sector. The study was undertaken in collaboration with representatives of the AHLA and the Recreational Vehicle Dealers Association of Alberta. Preliminary results of the study were presented at the AHLA's 2009 Convention.
