List Your B&B in the Official Accommodation Guide
Why should you list in the Official Alberta Accommodation Guide- Exposure through both print and Internet media - 1.2 million print readers and over 700,000 website visitors annually.
- Direct advantage from Travel Alberta’s internet marketing strategies.
- Long term staying power with high consumer and industry trust.
Print:
For over 30 years the official provincial Alberta Accommodation Guide has been publishing information on Alberta tourism operators. In 2009, 250,000 full gloss Accommodation Guides were distributed free of charge nationally and internationally. As a result, Bed & Breakfast listings will be available to over 1.2 million Guide readers year round!
Web:
In addition, the AHLA has been publishing the accommodation listings online since 1996. We continue to work with Travel Alberta and display all the properties printed in the Guide. These will be published online at www.travelalberta.com. Those listings are able to take direct advantage of the marketing Travel Alberta does to make Alberta a world class vacation destination!
Convenience:
Once your B&B is entered into the system, your listing information can be updated at any time through our easy and secure proofing site. Those without Internet access can update their information by fax.
How to List:
To secure space for your B&B in the Official Alberta Accommodation Guide and for the listings on www.travelalberta.com, please contact our office prior to September 1, 2010.
Listing Fee:
Listing fees are standardized for the print Guides and based on the number of rooms a property has. For B&Bs, this means they may use the fee from the lowest category $252.00 (including GST).
