The AHLA has developed its privacy policy in accordance with the Personal Information Policy Protection Act[PIPA], which became law in the province of Alberta on January 1, 2004, and to demonstrate commitment to protecting members, partners and potential website visitors. This policy is consistent with the current requirements under Bill C-6 [Personal Information Protection&Electronics Document Act] and Bill 44 [Personal Information Protection Act].
